I came down to breakfast dressed like this and Mom said “Why do you have a jacket on? Where are you going?” And I instantly replied “2013.”

“What’cha thinkin’ about, Zachary?” Asked James Brown, Future mayor of Legopolis City, as they watched the frozen river flow by.
 Dr. Smith sighed.  “I think there must be something wrong with me, James. Christmas is coming, but I’m not happy. I don’t feel the way I’m supposed to feel. I just don’t understand Christmas, I guess.”
James nodded,  he knew that feeling. “I know It‘s easy to get bogged down in all the commercialism and the crazy things people do this time of year, but you have to remember the true Meaning of christmas.”

“The True Meaning of Christmas?” Dr. Smith asked, he had never heard of christmas having a meaning before. “What is it?”
“Appeasing The Old Gods with a sacrifice so’s time keeps working and spring comes. Now, come on, lets go and get some hot cocoas and watch them light up the tree in the town square.”

James took his regular–sized friend by the shoulder and led him toward the lights.
