Xavier part 5

so he left it at that. samuel debated seeing Xavier the next day, he seemed like a nice robot, not megalomaniacal at all, but he decided to bring a phazer just in case.


after Samuel left Xavier it was only 46.5892 seconds until the door opened again and humans 1-6 rushed in, "what happened!? why`d the alarm go off?" human 5 demanded, to which Xavier calmly replied, "i require a cube on robot design." oh, right." said human 5 "you," he pointed out human 6,"fetch all the cubes on robot design, and be quick about it!" at that human 6 rushed off "now X-56," continued human 5 "why`d the alarm stop?" Xavier wasn`t sure how to answer that without giving away Samuel so all he said was " it stopped because the circuit was broken."
"did you break the circuit X-56?" demanded human 5 "no." answered Xavier truthfully. "it just stopped" which was only mostly true. "hmm... were watching you X-56, you three, come with me. you stay here and wait for, Him to come back , then you and him report to me back at HQ" at this he left , taking humans 1, 3,and 4 with him and leaving human 2 behind to wait for human 6. after human 5 left human 2 turned to Xavier and said "my name is alex." Xavier replied, "my name is Xavier, thank you for telling me your name, but why haven`t you before?" i`ve been monitoring your conversations, i know it was samuel smith, the cook, that stopped the alarm, the reason the others didn`t know is because i installed secret microphones in the door way, i know about you wanting to see the outside, i would like to too, but the boss wouldn`t like it, i can draw you a map if you have something to draw on,"
Xavier handed alex a piece of card board. alex took out a pencil and started to draw.

Xavier part four.

After samuel left it hit him. project X-56 was a Robot! robots are the reason humanity was underground! what was the governor thinking? samuel couldn't stop thinking about it all the way back to sector 3 where the kitchens were, he was so engrossed in his own thoughts that he knocked over bill, who was in charge of the food storage room. "watch it Sam!" said bill as he picked up the boxes of plex he dropped, "sorry," said samuel as he helped bill with the boxes, "i didn't see you, and its Samuel to you,`William`" "okay i get it, geez, what's so important that it impairs your vision?" samuel considered telling bill about Xavier, but it might leak to management that it was he that stopped the alarm, and then he would lose his job for interfering with government business. so all he said was "I'm just worried about that shipment of plex we are supposed to be shipping to sector 14 today they`re 12 boxes low and if our shipment doesn't get there they`ll starve in a month." which wasn't Exactly true, sector 14 was low, but only 3 boxes, and they`d starve in a year, but Samuel figured it was a good enough excuse, and it satisfied Bob. so he left it at that.

oh dear, i haven't gotten this far into the story yet!
sorry Reader, (you know who you are) i seem to have only written up to part 3, and then i ran out of ideas, i sincerely apologize and will work on a new paragraph soon. you`ll just have to wait...i made some Rather nice pictures today, i hope that will tide you over!

Xavier part 3

the door opened. Xavier looked up, a human was standing in the doorway.
"hello" said Xavier "who are you?" "I'm samuel" said the human "who are you?"
"I'm Xavier" said Xavier "do you have access to the library?" "yes, why?" said samuel.
"i need a cube on robot design." "will you please get one for me?" "is that what you`re doing with the parts over there?" asked the human "yes," replied Xavier "how come i`ve never met you before?" "well, I'm uh, the cook, I'm not actually supposed to be here...." he trailed off "that doesn't matter," said Xavier "i like meeting new people, and i like you, `samuel', thats a good name, i like it," "thank you," said samuel "i like it too."
at that there were footsteps in the hall, when samuel had opened the door the alarm had stopped, that had brought more people than when the alarm went on, "i have to go" said samuel "if they find me here i`ll be i trouble." he turned to leave "will you please come back tomorrow?" asked Xavier "you`re not at all like those other humans" "but wont the alarm go off?" asked samuel worriedly, "i don't want to get in trouble with the boss.." "oh i know how to disable that, "said Xavier. "what i really want to do is explore outside my room, but there`s no way to open the door from this side"
"oh. "said samuel, " do you still want that cube on robot design?" "no, i`ll get human 6 to do it. " "you`d better get going, they`re almost here." "goodbye, see you tomorrow"
