This is not as easy as it looks.

As a regular viewer of this blog i am sure that you have noticed that i have fallen down on the job, first i let in a bunch of static, then i let in a cry for help from a bored radio operator, well i personally think that a bit of static every now and then is O.K. besides, i have alot on my plate, not only do i have to decode random radio static, but i also have to decode pictures. this is what you saw earlier:
but this is how it came across Macs desk{top}

you see, while i do most of this blogging thing, Mac is kind enough to scan, reformat, and return all Messed-Up imagery , if he were a robot i would say he did it autonomously, but he isn't a robot, he just works for me. He is the head of image repair and transmission forwarding. If this transmission were meant for me, I would have gotten it, but since it was meant for no-one in particular, it didn't come across my desk. Mac is getting a severe scolding from the head of the scolding department, unfortunately i can't remember if we have a scolding department. i will have to check with Mac, if i can…find him.

And on that note i bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

The Continuing Weekly Adventures Of Dr. Zachary Smith H.M.O.

This Weeks Episode:
Trapped!
Last Week as you recall, the Team Was trapped inside the humans  Boxy Vehicular Transport, When an ominous Sound made its way through the Styrofoam, Plastic, and possibly Metal, walls of the machine, a noise like a thousand bones crunching under the feet of a thousand pound lion,

oh. it's just Jack.

 after quick introductions i, er, that is, Jack, told them that we were about to leave the state, and that if they wanted to get back to Legopolis they should probably get comfortable in my, er, his , carry on baggage. they declined, preferring to rather go by
 Door. you know, The Door, to the Rather Large Blank Spot. if Capt.  Brown can get there for Easter, and Zachary can get there for Easter, well then it could act like a tunnel couldn't it?
well it did, so there.
after a short telegram to Capt. Browns Royal Door Framers a door appeared, but unfortunately there are no photographs of this end, due to technical failure, editing difficulties, and pressure from the transport industry,  but we did get photographs of them this end,

 these are from a local newspaper reporter, { cost me a bundle to get these pictures from his publicist, but i got 'Em! }
any way, here he is exiting The Door,

 and here he is bestowing upon his students The Golden Telescopes, Signifying that the members of Dr. Zachary Smiths Exploratory Force, are hereby official Explorers!
and Dr. Smiths colleagues
join us next week For the Episode {Maybe} Entitled:

That is all for today,
Best Regards,
-Sir.

Unschooling in the 15th Century.

"Study without desire spoils the memory, and it retains nothing that it takes in. "
- Leonardo Da Vinci

This is from a guy in the 15th Century.

Paraphrased:
"If you have to learn stuff, without really wanting to, it wont stick."

The 15th Century.

This is a guy who is regarded as one of the greatest minds of, well, Ever. And we still have this Lame School System, Force-feeding knowledge to the masses.
Everyone knows the school system is broken, but we have known it was broken

For Five-Hundred Years

Five-Hundred Years

You would think some one would have instituted a better system in FIVE-HUNDRED YEARS.
Have you seen that T.V. show, "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" well it should really be titled "are you smarter than a 5th grade textbook?" of course these people are smarter than 5th graders, just at different things, like Brain Surgery. Or Banking.
The reason these people don't remember these things is that they were forced to learn them, they were forced to learn about, say, the political situation of 12th century Europe, who really uses the political situation of 12th century Europe in their day to day lives? I mean Seriously! Unless you are going to be a Professor of Medieval Politics, it is useless.

Useless.

It will continue to be useless for another five-hundred years, no matter what they say about "Individualism" and "Not following the crowd". The Government does NOT want Individuals. {i.e. Artists, Poets, Architects, Forward-Thinkers, you know, Smart People.} They want Worker-Bees. {i.e. Machinists, Checkers, Cubicle Workers, et cetera.}
Because frankly, they are easier to control. Cubicle Workers don't generally lead uprisings against the Establishment. Forward-Thinkers Do.

And on that note I bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

the debate over Jack rages on, Jack, or No Jack?

today in Legopolis the debate about Jack rages on. as you may know Legopolis is the largest city in the Legopolian Tri-State Area, and with large cities come many differing points of view. And even among the greatest minds of the country there is bound to be some argument.  49% of the great minds say that There is no such thing as Jack. the entire world was nothing and then, it was. 50% of the Great minds Say that the other 49% of the great minds are stupid, and that the only possible Explanation is that some all-knowing being created everything, the other 49% say that that is ridiculous, as they had done the math and this "Jack" would have to 188.8 bricks tall, an impossible number as bricks only split into thirds, so there. the 49% calmly asks where the 50% got this number?  they reply that they got it from a …foot…print…that…Dr. Zachary Smith… …found,
"Oh."
as that dawns on the 49% of the great minds Dr. Smith himself enters the room.
"What did i miss?"
 and on that note i bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.
