Quips and Witticisms from an Above Average Person.

"Popular Culture is for people who are popular."-me
As a person who was always drawn to Vintage and Retro things, {The Fedora Hat, Zeppelins…Et Cetera} I have gotten quite a few odd looks. My advice to my
Fellow exceptional people is:
"Treat every day as a formal occasion"-me
we can generally improve the quality of today's youth if you would all just, please, pull up your pants from around your ankles, and limit those chains hanging out of your pockets to Pocket Watches.  if you want to Rebel against your respective parents, Consider this.
"Your respective parents were dressing like that,  {partially, that is.} before you were even born."-me

Ha.
And its not like its hard to dress Nicely, or Properly even, have you ever heard of the salvation army? or Goodwill, or True Value, Thrift Stores in general really.
If you hurry, they still might be open!
 And on that note I bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

The Continuing Weekly Adventures Of Dr. Zachary Smith H.M.O.

This weeks episode entitled:
Preparing for an expedition
or,
The Technology of Dr. Zachary Smith.
Here we join Dr. Zachary Smith as he prepares for an expedition into the unknown.

First he selects the items he wants,

then he packs them,
Wait a minute, how are you going to pack all that into such a tiny suitcase Dr. Smith?
"Oh I have mastered the technology behind the door, and so when I put stuff in{my suitcase}, it goes to a special spot in the Rather Large Blank spot, allowing me to pack as much as I want!"

oh.
Join us Next Time when we might actually go someplace.
And on that note i bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

Next Weeks Episode: #18 A Solo Expedition Utilizing new Technology.

hooray for Vancouver!

Well, I couldn't find a sword-smith, but the Crew found a rather well-stocked Zeppelin Parts wholesaler, and got the new gas cells at a low, low price, I think the company's name was something like "cost co" or something weird like that, in the next big town over, Vancouver. Any way, I just received this new picture, {the one above} I guess my artistic photographer who follows me around followed me all the way to Canada!

I am considering taking drastic measures against this person, or persons? maybe its like a multi-national corporation of people who photograph Zeppelins, and then mysteriously leave the photograph in an envelope on my desk in my cabin!

And on that note I bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

{EDIT: apparently it was Mac the whole time, he is on the Zeppelin too, and when we were testing the H.M.Z. Peregrination he snapped a few pictures, developed them, and left them on my desk, but forgot to tell me.}

Lets see, what do I need at the store…

LIST:
1. Milk.
2. Eggs
3. New gas Cells for the Zeppelin {the old ones are not yet failed, but close.}
4. New Sword {Those Darn Scruffy Pirates!}
5. LR44 {a sort of batterie}
This was Written this morning, at the time we were floating over Canada, so we stopped over in a little Rural Town, not unlike one of the larger cities back home in Alaska.
We found a handy mooring tower, but it was a much too high, so it was a bit of an adventure to descend to the ground, but we had a ladder.

So every thing was Okay.

Any way, we found a store named "Walton's Market" and they had the Milk, Eggs, and the LR44 Batteries, but they were sorely lacking in Zeppelin Gas Cells and Swords.
And so we are moving on towards the next big city tomorrow. But since the Zeppelin won't go any farther reliably, we are setting up the Zeppelin as a base camp, and setting out on foot. i am confident we can find a Zeppelin supply company, but it is darned hard to find a good Sword-Maker in this day and age. so while the crew goes to find some Gas Cells, I am going to look for a New Sword.

Although I have very little faith that I am going to find a Sword-Maker in Canada.

And on that note I bid you

Good Day, and Best Regards.

Computers are passé.

Invest in Typewriters, before they invent some wild thing like a mass-interconnected web so that the computers can, like, talk to one-another,

or some crazy thing like that.

And on that note i bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

outdated technology, a short rant.

Computers are passé. Invest in typewriters. I'm serious, I Have Had some time alone with Jacks Computory Device, time enough to copy the design for formatting the posts to upload them into this blog. So I know what I am talking about when I say,
Computers Will Never Last.
The Design is so simplistic, almost like it was designed by a bunch of
monkeys.
Which makes sense you know, when you think about the evoloutionary cycle of the human being, they are basically apes. I mean ditching the Zeppelin after only 31 years of service?! that design had so much potential. except for the fact that the monkeys made it with,
1. an Internal Combustion Engine,
2. being lifted by a flammable gas, light, but flammable.
3. being covered by a highly flammable coating,
But an explosion could be avoided by simple precautions, such as,
1. enclosing the gas cells in something like rubber.
2. using helium instead of hydrogen, or hydrium, although humans have yet to discover that useful gas...
3. and not coating the whole thing in Duralumin.
there you go.  one not explosive zeppelin. read Airborn by Kenneth Oppel, now that is a great book. a great example of human ingenuity.  if only someone would give that guy a set of tools, the human world would be so much better.

Zachary? are you controlling my internet connection?
Dr. Smith?
Hey, stop that!

Bye.

Dr. Zachary Smith, Humanologist.

wow, look at all the people!

Its amazing what how excited people get when a Zeppelin flies over…
they put on their fancy hats…

I spy with my little eye: a Fedora, a Boater, A Top Hat, A Bowler, a Peaked Cap, a Shako, and several even I can not even name! I also Spy with my little Eye:

Count Ferdinand Adolf Heinrich August Graf von Zeppelin.

this guy:
Do you see him?
And on that note i bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

oh well.

Hi there folks, we Are reporting today from my personal Zeppelin. Why am I not reporting from my House In The French Countryside? well, it went like this, after battling scruffy pirates who were attempting to abscond with my domicile,
{ and turning them over to the french government i might add } I must have drawn attention to myself. And so they kind of evicted me, something about,

…tax evasion…

But that doesn't matter, The U.S.S. Sir Jacob has running water, fair recycling service, a wireless transmitter, and a typewriter, everything one could want really. But I just realized that since "U.S.S." generally stands for United States Ship, and since I no longer belong to any one nation, U.S.S. just will not do. That is why I am renaming my Zeppelin, The H.M.Z. Peregrination.

{His Majesty's Zeppelin, the Peregrination}

Good Day, and Best Regards.
