Hummingbird

There was a Hummingbird in our yard, and I tried to take a picture of it with my cheap zoom lens, and I learned an important lesson, namely that there’s a very good reason this lens was so cheap.
Caveat Emptor: Canon EF-S 55-250 1:4-5.6 IS.

“Farmer’s Market”

I was told we were going to a Farmers Market so obviously I expected a proper famers market, out of doors, multiple vendors, weird fruit. 
Instead what I arrived at was an indoors company store for a nearby farm. 

Well, alright. I guess.

CWA Mini–Sode: An Early Hallowe’en Costume



  Dr. Smith fished a piece of machined steel out of his pants pocket, eyeballing it above the thing he was working on.  He shook his head and set it down on the table, it wasn’t going to fit.
Bip
Boop
Bonk

  “Sir?”
 “Yes, Jeeves?”

Dr. Smith picked the thing up and squinted at it; a solution presented itself.
 “How do you like my hallowe’en costume?”



Dr. Smith smiled. “I see what you did there.”
