Visit Palmer {A Rural Town In Oregon}

We are reporting from the rural community of Palmer, in "Oregon" of the United States Of America. It is amazing the commotion that a Zeppelin can cause, Unfortunately Zeppelin mooring towers have been quite hard to find since The Incident back in '37. So we were forced to land in an adjacent field full up with little holes with flags stuck in them, weird custom, but whatever. The winds upon the ground for the last 3 days have been horrible, upwards of 15 knots, with a bitterly cold streak running through the Air. Luckily we are well insulated against that. And now we are trying to ward off the people in polo shirts, although why they want to hit a tiny white ball {or, as the day progresses, US!} with a long stick, in the general direction of one of these aforementioned flagged holes, in the current pelting rain and fog, I cannot imagine. We are in town on business, you may remember that I broke a sword on a rouge batch of Scruffy Pirates, and so I am here, so that I can Retrieve a sword from the ancestral home of the Fredrickson Klanen, Huset Människor where I grew up, and my ancestors stored all their best swords.
SJABBIG pirat Proof.
Guaranteed.

This is Sir Jacob, signing off.

My Window Sill.

Today i thought I would show you the windowsill of my cabin aboard the H.M.Z. Peregrination, I quite like clocks, and such. And these are my favorite parts of one of the many I took apart. You may not be able to see it, but the jars on the left are full of the little bits of Gears, and Gears on sticks, and Little screws, and all those fun things that are left over after a clock is demolished. In the middle there is a jar I found at a little shop called "Miachæls" for a single dollar, I then filled it with Genuine fortunes from the Far East, or, Convexly, the Near West. Also known as "Asia", hung around that Jar is a necklace made from a clock winding key, found in the garbage of clock shop, Just laying on top! I couldn't believe my luck. I then strung it with oilstring from a necklace shop in Saint Augustine Florida. After that are the more interesting contrivinces from what I can only assume to be a Grandmother clock. The chimes banger, the biggest gears, one thing which has a little spring and seems to be related to the second hand, and two paddles, which are in case the clock ever fell in water.
And on that note I bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

{sorry, the internet does this by itself. An autopilot.}

Next Weeks Episode: #18 A Solo Expedition Utilizing new Technology.

hooray for Vancouver!

Well, I couldn't find a sword-smith, but the Crew found a rather well-stocked Zeppelin Parts wholesaler, and got the new gas cells at a low, low price, I think the company's name was something like "cost co" or something weird like that, in the next big town over, Vancouver. Any way, I just received this new picture, {the one above} I guess my artistic photographer who follows me around followed me all the way to Canada!

I am considering taking drastic measures against this person, or persons? maybe its like a multi-national corporation of people who photograph Zeppelins, and then mysteriously leave the photograph in an envelope on my desk in my cabin!

And on that note I bid you
Good Day, and Best Regards.

{EDIT: apparently it was Mac the whole time, he is on the Zeppelin too, and when we were testing the H.M.Z. Peregrination he snapped a few pictures, developed them, and left them on my desk, but forgot to tell me.}

Lets see, what do I need at the store…

LIST:
1. Milk.
2. Eggs
3. New gas Cells for the Zeppelin {the old ones are not yet failed, but close.}
4. New Sword {Those Darn Scruffy Pirates!}
5. LR44 {a sort of batterie}
This was Written this morning, at the time we were floating over Canada, so we stopped over in a little Rural Town, not unlike one of the larger cities back home in Alaska.
We found a handy mooring tower, but it was a much too high, so it was a bit of an adventure to descend to the ground, but we had a ladder.

So every thing was Okay.

Any way, we found a store named "Walton's Market" and they had the Milk, Eggs, and the LR44 Batteries, but they were sorely lacking in Zeppelin Gas Cells and Swords.
And so we are moving on towards the next big city tomorrow. But since the Zeppelin won't go any farther reliably, we are setting up the Zeppelin as a base camp, and setting out on foot. i am confident we can find a Zeppelin supply company, but it is darned hard to find a good Sword-Maker in this day and age. so while the crew goes to find some Gas Cells, I am going to look for a New Sword.

Although I have very little faith that I am going to find a Sword-Maker in Canada.

And on that note I bid you

Good Day, and Best Regards.
