-=Neat Posters=-

To Keep you bored Readers happy while I'm Gone, I'm Going to Be Posting some of my favorite Clip-art posters, for some of my favorite destinations.
Posted every day at 12:00, until I run out.
these posters aren't mine, they came from a Dover® royalty-free clip art CD, so they are probably O.K. to spread around, just don't sell them.
The SS Normandie!  The most powerful steam turbo-electric propelled passenger ship ever built!
A french vessel, she made a total of 139 tranatlantic crossings, westbound from france, but only 138 eastbound.  Here's the Wikipedia article.

Well, we made it. I can't see why anyone would want to live in this godforsaken climate, but the crew's happy. Outside it's 80ยบ+ and humid with these giant bird-sized bugs which the entomologist of the crew thinks might be either cicada's or maybe some kind of blood-sucking bird. Did I mention the humidity? The air's so thick you can almost drink it, and couple that with 80° tempurtures, and you have hell.

To my mind at least. I would much prefer somewhere like Maine, or Boston, somewhere where you don't have put on your scuba gear on every time you have to go outside because of the humidity.

But the crew is happy, and a happy crew doesn't mutiny.
