Journal 1, Pages 15-16, somewhere in chicago.

i was waiting somewhere fancy, lets see, it was Macy's i think. i was again waiting on mom, but this time i was also waiting on Audrey, my friend sheridans big sister. they were doing something, looking for a purse or something. i remeber i was waiting on a cheap chair, {you know the sort.} at the top of the escalator, by a glass cabinet of jewlerey, Sheridan was waiting too, as there were two chairs, on each side of the glass cabinet, probably for husbands who were dragged up to that floor by their spouses. any way here i was, sitting very still, and some lady walks by, i twitch,
and she jumps A Foot.
 Sheridan was watching this lady closely and
 Apparently this person had thought that i was a Statue.
i didnt think that i could ever be that still again. anyway. on to the drawings. this is the beginnings of my fascination with faces, on the page on the right, also a couple of my better ideas, such as deep dish pizza, {with a ladder} Bowling or bust, {a bust of a bowling-type guy} home, Home On the range, {a house on a  stove-top} and a broccoli. {which i think is pretty good seeing as i've never actually seen one}
oh, the formerly black woman from the eighty's, i was going to make her, dark-skinned, but there was not enough contrast to make out her features.
Best Regards,
-Sir.

Journal 1 pages 13-14

this is the light fixture of, well, the pottery barn. i drew it as i was lying on one of the beds there,  just waiting, waiting, for mom to be done with shopping, but all that is kinda hazy. it was over a year ago folks, come on. Can you remember  a whole year ago?
yeah well, you probably dont have very early onset alzheimer's.
{i`m {AGE REDACTED} at time of publishing}
the other page, i dont remember at all. i think i drew it on the bus, {not school, public} but other than that,
it is a total blank.
now that bothers me, i have holes in my memory. so frustrating.  {grr.} {that was a frustrated noise}
That is all for today,
Best Regards,

Journal 1 Pages 11-12, 2007 sometime, the day is irrelevant. so its out.

On the right is another Geocache that i found with Seth,  but more interestingly { to you, the reader at least } is a couple of incomplete drawing i made at the Chicago union station, the top one is a partial of one of the columns there, and it is incomplete because as i was drawing it some guy walks up , now this is inside the lobby and here is this guy, cigar hanging out of his mouth, {and therefore a complete idiot  and a person to be avoided.} and he starts talking at me! complimenting my drawings or something, and i mumble thank you or some other non-specific verbal runoff, and yet he persists! mom is asleep on the bench beside me,
{it was just me and her, she was sleeping because we had just been on a plane for, like eight hours, and we were waiting on the bench for some friends, who had taken the train instead, not from Alaska, but from Indiana}
then i think he wanders off, and then comes back, so i wake up mom, and she asks him if people are allowed to smoke in the building, {trying to get him to go away} and he says, no. the cigar itself is unlit, but that guy was kinda creepy, and so we get up, and move down to the gate, and that is the end of him. but now our friends are like, thirty minutes late. and coming by train, i would think that they would be precicely on time. but no. those days went out with the Top Hat. and so we are sitting on this much smaller, much less comfortable bench, it was wrought iron i believe, much less comfortable than the nice long wood benches upstairs in any case. the whole thing is like a nightmare, but whatever. our friends come, Sheridan and Ms. Christine, {oh, and Audrey, Sheridan's big sister} you may remember them from the AK Earls go Blog, but then again you may not. whatever. they come, and we finally make it out of Nightmare Station.
but you know thats not really fair, as that is just one story, out literally thousands, millions probably, and the station is not full up with creepy cigar-smoking idoits, i sure some of them smoke ciggarettes.
but again that's not really fair either, and in the interest of being fair {blah blah blah}  not every one smokes, {thank whichever deity you want to, all of 'em even} and so at least some of them {the non smokers} are reasonably intelligent. {again, thanking god, buddha, and whoever else you want to believe in.}

That is all for today,
Best Regards,
-Sir.

While Johnathan, Joesph and Mr. Earl stood guard.

Down they went, , down into the belly of the aluminum beast.

in the darkness they stood, unaware that even at that very moment they were being watched, from the the shadows...

the many and varied training secrets of Walton's Market.

judging by how, er, well, lets just say, unprofessional the Checkers are in the establishment  known as WALtons MARkeT i can only assume that the only training these people have had is these pieces of paper with the basics on them. and maybe five minutes of conversation with the subtrainer's assistant.

and Yes, that was a "Plug" {An Endorsement :-) }

happy 1,972nd {or thereabouts} anniversary of Jesus' resurrection every body!

or, to all the rest of you who didn't understand what i was saying, Happy Easter!

Easter is a Christian holiday that, {as i understood it,} is about the supposed resurrection this guy, Jesus Christ, who somehow got quite a few people {at the time} to believe that he was, how should i put it, inherently special, that he was Descended from some Magical all knowing figure who would kill every one if they didn't oppose the present Establishment {pagans, non-believers, basically everybody else} and join him in the glorification and re-education of the world. and if you didn't believe him, you died. simple as that. needless to say, that technique had quite the effect on people. Anyway, the Establishment found out, and nailed him up on a couple of boards, {Apparently} killing him. after wards they threw the "body" in a cave, and sealed it up, three days later, the come to check on him, and he is gone.

whoop-a-dee-doodles.

and this is where my information goes fuzzy, but since he isn't there, he is obviously alive, or, in heaven, or something, and since he is obviously alive, we should all have a feast, and then continue his great work by establishing our own establishment, and going and killing anyone who says different. {sounds a lot like how this whole mess got started huh?} then someone introduces an egg-laying bunny and a chick to water-down the whole idea and spoon-feed it better to the future sheep. {I'm serious, pastors actually call the people who attend the church, Their "Flock" like they are sheep!}

anyway this is just how i understood the whole mess, and its just my single opinion, I'm just getting it out of my system.

any day where we get to eat heavily starchy foods is O.K. with me, and on a lighter note, Zachary took time off from his busy schedule to celebrate the day with Captain Brown, the mayor of Legopolis and long-time friend of Dr. Smith's. Since Capt. Brown Can Not be far away from Legopolis at any given moment, they decided to celebrate in the Rather Large Blank Spot, a place between space. An alternate dimension if you will. consisting of nothing, but blankness. Stuff can appear, sure, but you have to really want it to be there, and even then it sort of melts back into nothing after awhile.
Quite the handy spot for party's and such.
this is Dr. Smith in his best holiday Clothing, and in the back ground Charles, Dr. Bennet M.D. and Johnathan, and behind Zachary where you cant see him, is Private Lawrence, then Joesph, then on the end is Captain Brown Himself, then in the front is Clancy.

they are not actually celebrating Easter, but April the twelfth, a national feast day in legopolis, seeing as it is the good Captain's mothers second cousins twice removed{s?} birthday. in fact, there are holiday's for all of Captain Browns relatives, and he comes from a rather large Italian family, it got so bad that the good peasants hardly ever get any work done.
{.luckily there is not much to do.}

Best Regards,
-Sir.
